My friend has been getting really weird periods since october. It keeps coming later and later. It lasts a shorter and shorter time. It went fom being 30 days apart and 7 days long to 38 days apart and 1 1/2 days long. She had a urine pregnancy test done at the doctor and it was negative. They also made her drink 3 glasses of water before she took the test. The doctor doesn't seem to think there is anything wrong. She just thought we were both crazy. She also had all the symptoms of pregnancy. She is getting really frustrated and so am i. We are both naturally curious people and not knowing what is going on is bugging us both. Has anyone experienced this before? Could it just be a hormone imbalance?? If someone has some answers please reply

well I honestly dont know... But maybe if she doesn't think that the doctor is right, she should get a second opinion... Can't hurt...

Was the test a blood or a urine test.. The reason I ask is because you say she had to drink water... So I was just curious

I'm thinking if she thinks she got preg in sept or even as late as november, she would be able to tell by now. Something would be diff. You said she's having preg symptoms so maybe she's preg. Depending on what the symptoms are... Like peeing a lot isn't always preg related. She should retest.

I had a weird period in october. I spotted for three days and that was it.. I thought I was pregnant so I took a urine test and had a examination and the doctor and test came negative.. In november I didn't get a period so I took 5 hpt and was negative... I waited 2 weeks then took a blood test and it was positive. Im now 15 weeks... Take a blood test to be sure.. If ur friend knows how her periods are then maybe she should go to the doctor to make sure there's no other reason... Bye
