Gender?

Ok...Friday (1/28) I had a sono done to measure the baby and everything came out fine. The baby measured to be 18w 4d. We got a lot of really good shots and the tech said she thought it was a girl. My baby moves a lot and we got to see a lot of her but there was never any boy parts that came popping out. The tech also said she was leaning more towards a girl because of seeing white down there. I know none of you are sono techs and didnt get to see the pics but do you think that if it was a boy and with as much as it was moving around little boy parts would have come out from some where. I know these things cant garantee anything 100% gender wise unless its really obvious (sp?) but ive had a few people ask me if I was for sure it was a girl because they were told they were having girls and ended up with boys. I just think that if it was a boy that with as much moving around as it was doing and with as many shots that we got to see of it that surely something would of came out if it was boy. Right?

My Dr. Hasnt said whether or not he will do another. I was just thinking about the whole situation and I thought I would ask others. I personally would think that if it wasnt a girl something would of popped out cause she moves a lot. I just didnt know if maybe somebody else possibly had been told they were having a girl and ended up with a boy even though it moved around a lot during the sono.

I know what you mean. My baby was moving a whole lot too when I had my ultrasound but for most the time it was like he was showing all his parts except the boy/girl ones. I was like "how come if its moving so much you can see everything but that?" then suddenly he flashed us for a sec and the tech said "there it is! It looks like you're gonna have a little boy."

that ultrasound and seeing my baby boy while he's living and growing in me was totally awesome and i've gotta admite I couldn't help crying most the time cuz it was so amazing.

Good luck. I hope you have the little girl you want. :)

Hope this helps....... If the tech said it was most likley a girl then you can buy pink with certanty......... A girl baby is the easiest sex to determan because they don't have extra bits..........
I was told baby girls bits look like a hamburger bun and boys look like hot dogs.........
Its boys that they make the most mistakes with.......... If your told your having a boy it isn't as certain as being told its a girl cause some baby girls have enlarged colitoses.......... And then they can be confused for boys.........
