Half-circumcision..?
Posted: 01-31-05 22:37pm

I have what appears to be a very small foreskin. It's not tight like phimosis, but rather short. When i'm flacid it goes about halfway down my glans. I am able to pull it all the way over though, it just doesn't stay like that. Also, when I am erect, it automatically retracts, but I am still able to pull it about halfway down. I'm only 14 and rather hesitant to ask my parents because they don't really enjoy the talk of anything sexual in nature.

I know it doesn't really matter but i'm curious because all my friends who are uncircumcised have foreskins that go down the entire length of their glans. So have I been half-circumcised or are there foreskins that are rather small?

Well, let's face it. I'm a female and probably know very little about circumcision. However, it doesn't seem very logical that you would be circumcized and not know about it from your parents. It seems to me that it would be something a parent would mention to a young child about their birth/ infancy. I'm sure if you have had a circumcision that it was not poorly done. I really wouldn't worry about it that much.

Circumcision can be done many ways. Depending on how you were circumcised, or how much the doctor removed you may have a very lose circumcision. One way to tell is by looking for a scar, or a dark band, just below the glands.
