When did you notice your "pooch" and when did others start noticing?

I'm only 8 weeks and already am anxious to start showing off my belly and wear cute maternity clothes! None of my friends know i'm preg yet. I'm waiting until my second appt next friday to make sure everything is ok! :)

my mom told me she started showing when she was 3 months! And started wearing maternity clothes at 4 months!

I looked "chubby" until about 24 wks and when I went into labor at nearly 30 wks, I didn't even look all that big.

At first I wanted to get a belly real quick, that way I could start looking all preggo and stuff.....I'm 12 weeks 5 days.....Is that like way too early to start having a little tummy!! I'm really scared because I don't want to get too big!! Now I want to like hold the tummy growth where it's at for like 5 weeks....Someone please make me feel better!

just so you know the weight you gain isn't all fat....Maybe that'll make you feel better!! Lol seeing htat you're sticking out more doesn't mean that you're getting fat. Just means that you're insides are growing bigger...Uterus, the sac, getting more fluid, the baby. :) you must just have a bigger baby. :)

after I had cole I lost 30lbs.....

i don't know how personal this is to you...But are you a bigger person? That might have something to do with it. Also if you're a smaller person those 2lbs might just be everything for the baby...Which that you should feel good about, cause if you're skinnier and don't gain weight like a lot of ppl you should be a littel better off and be all belly!! I was all belly...I lost 20lbs within the first week then the other 10 a few weeks later. I have 6lbs left...Which is at that point of not losing or gaining! Lol

My mom said it was normal for me she only gained 15 pounds with me. I was all of it too. She wasn't big at all. She was 103 before and after.

I didn't gain much weight. I started showing with my first baby at about 6 or 7 months....But I was sporting the maternity clothes way before that!!  I love them, they are so cute. And more comfortable when you're in the in between stage. Like you can't fit your clothes, but maternity is still a little big.

No~i'm not fat....I weighed 150 before the pregnancy and I know that's big, but i'm not fat.....In high school I played v-ball, was on the swim team, and played fast pitch, and I took a lifting class, so I have a little muscle on me :) i've always had a little chub on my stomache too, but not enought to call fat! I swear I was trying to post some pics on here, but it won't freakin let me!! I did the ivillage thing and every time I tryed to upload a picture, it told me it failed because it was too big! I resized them and everything, but still not working!

Greetings,

i new to this forum. I am so glad someone asked this question because I was wondering if I was progressing like others. I'm relatively an average small/petite, so I didn't how much me being small would effect things. Reading the posts...I feel much better.
