Possible Pregnancy Symptoms 2 Days After Sex...too Early?
Posted: 02-03-05 11:30am

I recently got caught up in the heat of
the moment with a guy i'm dating and ended
up having unprotected sex with him . . .
The jerk just "assumed" I was on the pill
and ejaculated inside me without
consulting me first. Obviously i'm not
planning on seeing him/sleeping with him
again.
The problem is that sense then I haven't
been able to shake the fear that I could
be pregnant . . . I'm a college
sophomore with big plans for my future .
. . I can't deal with having a baby.
I've been experiencing some weird physical
things . . . I'm thinking that could be
signs of early pregnancy . . . A sort
of weakness in my limbs that comes and
goes, i'm tired a lot (moreso than usual,
anyway), and I have a headache that I
can't seem to get rid of. I've also been
feeling slightly nauseous after some
meals, but that could also be due to the
fact that i'm still re-adjusting to
college cafeteria food (blech!) after a
long break. I know that the fatigue and
headache could just be attributed to
stress about this whole situation . . .
Could they also be signs of early
pregnancy?
It's only been two full days since the
sexual encounter . . . Is it even
possible to feel symptoms this early? At
what point should I try a pregnancy test?
My period isn't due for another two weeks
. . . I don't know if I can handle the
stress till then.
Also, if it turns out that I am pregnant,
I think that I would probably get an
abortion . . . I'm too young to have a
baby, I haven't even figured my own life
out yet. But as a college student, my
financial situation is currently pretty
rocky, and I don't know if I can afford to
get the procedure done. Would it be
unfair to ask this guy to help me out, so
long as he is agreeable to an abortion?
He is just as responsible for this as I
am, if not moreso, because he just assumed
that it was ok to ejaculate without
pulling out.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Way too early to be getting signs. Try
not to stress b/c that could delay your
period. You could also make yourself
believe your preg and get lots of
symptoms. You could use first response
hpt up to five days before your missed
period. About the rest of your post...
Abortion should not be used as a form of
bc, there are many options out there...And
what about stds?? Sorry, i'm sure you
know all that, just couldn't hold back.

I would never normally use abortion as a
form of birth control, but I can't turn
back the clock and un-make a mistake i've
already made, and I absolutely can not
deal with having a baby. But I know i've
certainly learned my lesson for the
future.

well just remember that it takes two to
tango, and that "jerk" should have
probably been informed that you were not
on the pill....Can't blame him hun....
It's way too early to have
symptoms....Don't stress about it because
it can make your period late.
If you feel abortion is the right thing to
do, than go ahead....Make sure you get
proper infortmation and counsling before
hand, if it turns out you are pregnant and
that's the route you choose to
take.......I will say one thing
though...One mistake is bad
enough....Don't make two....Have you
considered adoption??

abortion is a part
of reproductive care whether you like it
or not. And no, I was not starting a
fight. *you* were. We are arguing now
because you couldn't help yourself but
just had to be snide. So if you want to
complain about fights, go look at your own
behavior.

No no no no steen. All I said was let it
go, that was my opinion of what I wanted
you to do. This is a pregnancy forum,
therefore most of the women who come here
are pregnant, or seeking answers
concerning pregnancy....I take a little
offense to you sticking your nose in here
whenever it's convenient for you to bring
up abortion or start fight....I'm done
with this one....Say what you want~i'm
done...

If your having any symptoms 2 days after
sex either you were pregnant from a while
ago, its your period, or its all in your
head... Like you can make your body think
your pregnant sooo bad that you will have
symptoms

Let It Go

This is pregnancy, not abortion debate.
Now ur pissing me off, birth control
prevents it, not kills it. No, after 2
days you won't and you need to settle down
and stop making all these decisions about
a baby that may not exist! Seriously,
maybe if you are doing this to yourself
you aren't ready for sex. Now, you need
to start the pill and condoms.

so don't make it one. I
was not the one starting talking about
abortion.

or stops implantation,
anyway. Birth control is to control
whether to give birth or not. That's in
its name, after all. And birth control
does not distinguish on the method.

once again taking the part that you like.
The whole sentence mentioned there are
other forms of bc and forms that protect
from stds. I was looking at her whole
situation. I suppose then you will
recommend your wife and daughters not take
the pill, or use any other form of bc and
just abort whenever there is an unwanted
preg.

the rest of your post was
correct, that there are other forms of
birthcontrol that protects against std,
that there are some done earlier and
easier. But abortion is also a stopgap
meassure to stop a pregnancy when other
methods have failed, so yes it should be
used as birth control.
Happy?
