When is a good time to have a baby shower?? I know there are some people planning a big one for me out there, and I was just wondering like how far along you should be before you have one?? I would think at least far along enough to know the sex....

I had one baby shower in july , which was like 3 months before I was due...Then I had another one in august....So I would say after you find out the sex any time would be fine. :)

but do it closer to the end....But not too close, get what i'm saying?? Lol

I think 6-7 months is the perfect time :) I can't wait to have mine. I know my mom always throws her friends awesome baby showers, I know mine is gonna be huge! And at work i'm sure they will throw me one at work as well! Hehe

I had my first one when I was I think 7 mos. We had four all together with our first baby. It was awesome...Then the second baby came 20 mos later and everyone was like didn't they just have a baby shower?? Didn't I just give them something???? And we didn't get much. Lol

that sounds very sweet, but i'm selfish. I would want my own shower, b/c I think people would be more inclined spend more on gifts on two seperate occasions. I'm thinking of my bday and how it's so close to christmas and people rip me off all the time. Lol
