I recently had unprotected sex with my
boyfriend (he withdrew before he came) and
i'm taking the pill (microgynon 30) but I
forgot to take the pill later on in the
evening. I also didnt take the pill when
I remembered that i'd forgotten it.. I
just ignored it.
Is there a high chance I could be
pregnant?
I would like to take a pregnancy test to
put my mind at rest, but does microgynon
effect the result of the test? Should I
wait until I have finished my current
pack?
Please please help!

I believe you need to use a backup method
for 24 or 48 hrs when you miss a pill (or
just don't take it??!!). More info is
needed. When did you have sex? When is
your period due? More than likely you're
not preg.

More than likely you are not pregnant at
all. I used to miss a pill and nothing
ever happened. You are only really
fertile 14 days before your period if you
have a 28 day cycle.

i had sex probably mid december time. I
didnt take the pill when I remembered i'd
missed it, I stupidly took it at the end
of the pack (does that make sense?) I
havent had a break from packs since then
(due to me going on holiday and not
wanting a period..)
after the missed pill, I took the rest
correctly.

You're supposed to take any missed pills
as soon as you remember.

i didnt have a period, I started a new
pack of pills straight away because I was
going on holiday and didnt want a period.
Yeah, I know about taking the pill as soon
as you've forgotten now.

Okay, well, there is a small chance you
could be preg. Test, the bc pills will
not effect the outcome of the test.

were you just do what the other people
have been saying and take a test when your
period is due if it doesn't show up
