Can Birth Control Delay Your Period After 2 Months of Use? Posted: 02-04-05 18:43pm
Hello, i've been married 6 months, i'm new
here and I have a question.
My period is 5 days late and I was
wondering if the pill is what caused it.
I was only on it for 2 months and i've
been off just over a month now.
I had a withdrawal bleed when I stopped
and it went away for like 2 days then came
back. Even though I had this bleeding
then, could I still be pregnant or am I
late because of the past pill use? The
only pregnancy like symptom i've had is
really painful leg cramps at night, oh and
also i've been severely bloated for the
past 3 weeks.
Umm..Just wanted some advice...If its not
possibble to be pregnant i'll stop
obssesing.
Thanks so much for your time! :)

I stopped taking the depo shot april of
last year. And my period is just starting
to get back to normal. At least I hope it
is. And me and my hubsand is trying to
get pregnant. Have yet so far. But
anything is possible. If you think you
might be pregnant. Take a test or go to
the doctor.
Anytime you need to talk just post or send
me a pm.

yeah, you could be preg. Leg pains
aren't usually a preg symptom though.
Starting and stopping the pill does a
number on your cycle/hormones, but I would
think it would be out of your system by
now. Idk, test.

Thanks so much you guys! :d
i was just wondering if I had valid reason
to go and pick up a test. I just hate
getting my hopes up, and here the tests
are expensive.
Good luck to you conceiving! It must be a
great feeling to plan it from the very
beginning. ((hugs))
and to the second poster, thanks for the
advice, i'm going to pick one up tomorrow.
Also, about the leg pain its just strange
because I wasn't getting it before so I
assumed it might be a symptom. I guess
not all things are connected though.
Well you guys, thanks so much for replying
so fast. I'm really super antsy!
Take care!
((hugs))

it happens again I know where to come.
Take care all!
