I am having a continuous humming in my
left ear for past 6 months. Initially I
thought it will go of by itself. I also
consulted 2 doctors. The first one said
that I had cold and when I am fine, it
will ok. I recovered from cold long back
but nothing happened, the humming is still
there.
The second doc said that it will be fine
and gave me "vertin" tablets. I was a bit
scared in having them because my mom had
vertigo problem and she used to have
vertin.
The humming is still there...How can I get
rid of of.
I tried auryedic medicines too and
medicated oil..Using ear plugs while
bathing but nothing helps.
Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like your next trip should be to an
ent doctor to get a more specific
diagnosis. It sounds like possible
tinnitus.. But more often that is a
ringing and not a humming...
