I had just got a new car, a grand prix, it
was going to be our "family car" well it
turned winter, so luis and my mom wanted
me to quit my job so I didnt have to drive
around the mountains in the snow. We let
the insurance go off it, cause luis has a
truck we used most of the time...
My brother totaled his car, and I felt bad
cause I wasnt using mine, so I told him he
could use our car untill I had the
baby...
He e-mailed me a couple weeks ago and said
"i went to get the oil changed and the guy
said 'all kinds of things are broke and
its going to take 1000's of dollars to
fix'" and I was like what??!!
Well my mom just talked to him, and he
informs her, not me, that the car is
completely broke down and wont move, and
of course hes not going to fix it! So now
im just out of a car...
And here were gunna be having a baby, and
only a 2 person truck.
F*&^%^$ angers me the f&!@ off!

If it was in his care, and his
responsiblity, then he needs to be a man,
own up to his actions and take care of it.
Its not fair of him to leave you, his
pregnant sister, with no car and a baby on
the way. Thats selfish. Is your mom
going to talk to him about it?

Well then he definitley needs to start
acting like a man, and own up to his
actions.
I hope things work out and you have a car
for you and your family. :)

Hah, my mom is talking to my grandma, and
I heard her say "he doesnt have to do
anything about it, its not his fault, she
hasnt said anything about it, but what can
she say, shes just out of luck, it had too
many miles on it anyways."
ya, as you can tell she favors my brother
over me and my sister.

That is a complete load of caca. I'd
raise hell if my brother did some caca
like that and I wouldn't let him get away
with that.
Pink- I hope you and your man find your
own place sometime soon.

Yahh, me too! Im gunna talk to him
tonight. Im so ticked off. Im grinding
my teeth, and my eyes are watering up.
She wants us to stay here forever, and
shes happy that she "thinks" im trapped
now. But I really dont even care about
that car, cause im not gunna let that hold
me down.

That is good that you are not going to let
your mom hold you down. Your brother has
a responsiblity to fix the car if it was
in his care. My sister has my car
borrowed. And if it tires up she will
have it fixed or buy the parts to fix it.
What did your brother do. Drive the car
without oil. If he did then it blowed the
motor. Which will probably cost alot of
money to get it rebuild or buy a new
motor. But I think it would cost less to
rebuild it then to buy a new motor for it.
But if you tell your brother he has a
responsibilty to fix and he does nothing
about it you could sue him then that might
teach him a lesson. It might. But you
don't have to do that if you don't want
to. Just some advice. I hope everything
works out okay.

Like my mom says theres nothing I can do
about it, cause they claim "its not his
fault" 'it would have broke the same if I
was driving it,' but funny thing is when
it left my house nothing was wrong with
it.
He said the oil can guy said that all the
gaskets were broke, and it had some other
stuff, I dont even remember.
Im just gunna throw my hands up in the air
and say what the hell I guess.
Im not gunna start a family fued over it,
I can get another one, at least I have a
good attitude about it, im scared to tell
luis tonight though, hes gunna be the one
to throw the fit.

I wouldn't start anything over it either.
Now that I think about it, you can
hopefully move out soon and start your own
little family. And always remember in the
back of your head this situation that just
happend, and next time they need something
from you, you know what to say. Lol.

As I sit here and think about it. I would
start a family fued over it. I am trying
my best not to start a family fued in my
family. That is along story. Which I
don't really want to get into details but
to give you a idea. My brother's wife
thinks she owns my parents house. And she
has the right to tell me what to do. And
she also thinks that she can the bathroom
door open when she is in there. Which I
am fixing to beat the you know what out of
her. And when that happens that will
probably start a family fued. And I don't
want that so I am trying really really
really hard not to beat your know what out
of her.
Try not to let the stress over get to you.
Not good for you and the baby. By the
way have you find out what you are having.

parents though which is good. My moms
sister, and my cousin. They're
crazy...It's such a long story though.

Was the car in good condition when you
bought it/gave it to him? I was actually
watching this court case on a similar
situation (even between bro and sis) and
the car owner (sis) won and the brothe
had to pay for it even though no contract
or anything he was still at fault
i dunno if youd take it that far or not
though
