So Much For Hoping
Posted: 02-07-05 02:39am

Well now I know that it's over between me and him. For the most part, he kept thinking I was going to kiss him today, and I thought about it, but I didn't. I just liked looking at him. He's changed so much, he's stopped smoking, he cut his hair short, he's shaved, it's so weird. Well I told him I might be pregnant, well kinda I told him I was scared about something and I didn't want to say because I didn't want to complicate things, and he figured it out. I miss him so much, but I guess i'll move on. So hopefully if I get a chance tomorrow i'm going to go buy a pregnancy test and find out for sure. Thanks for listening you guys.

I'm 17. We've talked about it and he said that if I am pregnant, we'll figure things out once I know for sure, but either way he'd help me (wether it's giving me money, or actually being there for the kid is a different story) but I know if he doesn't stick around that i'll be able to do it on my own. I still haven't gotten a chance to take a test, because there is always someone around me and i'm not going to buy one with my friends or parents around.

Yes you need to tell them early I waited until I was 7 months to tell my dad, little did I know that he was going to be supportive and help me, it woulda been so much less stress trying to hide it

Thanks you guys. I found out yesterday that I am. I told my ex, and at first he wanted me to have an abortion, but than he started talking about what to name the baby. It was weird. I'm going to take another test soon to make sure, but i'm pretty sure I am. I'm also going to work on telling my parents. It's going to be hard, but I think they have to know.

How far along do you think you are? The sooner the better you tell them babe even if they lash out on you... And go get some prenantals and your butt into the doc asap!

Muah congrats its a long road from here!

If you need anything!

Thanks so much you guys. I never thought i'd find a place like this. You guys are awsome. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow, i'm not sure how far along I am, possibly a month, maybe 6 weeks. I think i've decided i'm going to keep it because I can't just get rid of it like an unwanted puppy or something. I'm going to talk to my ex before I tell my mom. I was thinking of telling my mom and my dad at the same time. Does anyone know any good ways of letting your parents know?

Buy bibs. One that says 'i love my grandma' and 'i love my grandpa' there only like .97 cents at walmart. Wrap them up and tell them you got them a present to open at the same time, when they see it, I think theyll get the point, maybe cry, or yell at you, I dont know lol, but thats the cutest way I could think of.

Awww that sounds so cute. I think I might do that, take them out for coffee or something, and give those to them. I know my mom is going to be mad at first, but than I think she'll be excited. I have no idea how my dad will react, but i'm going to wait to tell them till I go to the doctors and do some stuff.
