All places are different. You need to call around to doc. Offices and check. Alos you need to check to see if you insurance plan covers any of the cost. So talk to your ins. Provider first then they can give you rec. Of doctors. Good luck to you

dear anaywilmer,
in vitro fertilization, or ivf, is quite expensive. On average, each cycle of treatment can cost $4000 to $10,000. And many couples take more than one cycle to get pregnant.

Some health insurance plans will pick up part of the cost, and in some states health insurance is required to cover fertility fees, at least up to a point. In addition, some women do what is called a shared cycle--where they donate some of their eggs to another couple that needs them, who can share the cost of the cycle.

For more information, talk to your doctor. Fertility specialists know that cost is a concern for most families, and will have lots of information for you about your options. Good luck to you!
