I've heard that depending on how long you've been on it it can cause you to go sterile or have many problems with getting pregnant.....

I was on the depo shot for 3 years, I got off of it in february 2003, and was pregnant in february 2004, I had my daughter on november 5th 2004, and im on the depo shot again. It protected me very well, and I easily got pregnant right after getting off it.

I was on the depo shot . I think I took maybe 4 shots. But I quit takeing them because me and my hubsand is trying to have a baby. Haven't found anything to help speed it up. But I am hopeing soon. My last shot was april of 2004. But if it was easy for you to get pregnant from the first time you stopped taking then maybe it won't be to hard the second time.

I actually read in the paperwork they gave me, that after getting of the shot to be sure to use protection because pregnancy is a lot more likely. Apparently they were right...

I never actually got any paperwork when I went and got the shot. The only papers I got was for the folic acid. And for the self breast exam to. That is the only paperwork that I got. But I guess there is just someplace who wants to come back and get some information so they can charge you more money

I have been on depo for over a year now and I have been felling like I am pregnant, I can actually feel something moving around in my belly. I have had blood tests and home pregnancy tests and all came back neg. please somebody help me. I am worried.

You are definitely not pregnant if you are getting negative pregnancy tests, especially blood tests. They would detect pregnancy within the first month... and especially if you were far enough along to feel something moving.

depo shot
I was on the shot for 6 months and couldn't get pregnant for 3 years. But I guess it wasn't time. Though antibiotics may have had something to do with it. About 3 mos after I was hospitalized and pumped full of antibiotics for 2 days I got pregnant with the same person I had been trying w/ for a year. Also doctors started talking to me like getting pregnant may be harder for me but magic happens. I have a beautiful 11 month old girl now. I am on the shot again but I think I might be pregnant because I remember the first time I had the shot after I had the baby they told me to wait 2 wks before having intercourse. When I switched doctors there was about a 4 wk delay on getting another shot. (4wks after one was due) They didn't mention anything about waiting and I didn't so i'm not sure what's going on. i'll have to take a test soon I guess....

Anyway this is very weird I've been bleeding since I was on the shot, even when I am off it, but yesterday I totally stopped bleeding and its scaring me. I don't know if I would be pregnant or am I just imagining so, can someone please help me?

I was on the depo shot for about 3 and a half years, it made me loose my sex drive, so i went to the doctor who put me on these weird hormone BC pills, they made my breasts really sore so i came off them and went back on to the pill i was on before the shot, my periods were pretty regular whilst on the pill, i stayed on the pill for atleast a year maybe 2, me and my boyfriend decided we'd like to try for a family last Aug (0Cool my periods slowly drifted further and further apart, i then dint have a period for 6months i had another one about 3wks when do i exspect my next 1? will they ever regulate???? Sad
