Lower Back Pain Probable Lesion Posted: 02-09-05 11:46am
I have been diagnosed with degenerative
disc disease for many years. Lately the
pain has become unbearable. I had an mri
done and here were the findings.
Around 10 mm lesion in the siperior aspect
of l4 there is lytic change in the
superior endplate and surrounded by a
small amount of edema. They said a small
metatastic lesion is a consideration.
This was not present on a mri from 12
months ago. I have gone for a ct but no
results yet
there is significant degenerative change
at l5.
I aqm having continual pain during the
day. Numbness in my left foot and pain
down my left leg. I cannot get the doctor
to move on this and am needing some relief
as I am obviously concerned about possible
cancer. I would appreciate suggestions
from anyone and everyone. Many thanks

Get all of your medical documents and go
to cleavland spine institute asap! That
is the closest spine specality center to
indiana that I am aware of.
If your doc wont help you, you need to get
moving to another clinic and seek
agressive help.
Your health is in your own hands. In the
end, allowing a this doctor to allow you
to suffer. You cannot blame anyone but
you.
