it really isn,t a great idea to go cold turkey as the shock can cause just as much stress to the baby (thats what my doc saidanyway) try cutting down slowly then stopping.

I am 9 weeks and 21 years old. I have been a smoker since I was 12. When I found out I was pregnant I wanted to quit. It sounds silly...But I found this book called "the easy way to stop smoking" it worked!! No cravings, nothing....Get it!!!! Its worth it...

Good luck to you!!!

quit asap. I think it's better to quit cold turkey and I don't believe in docs saying that quitting all at once will "shock" your system. It's very bad for your baby. I quit instantly with no probs. Imagining my baby in a smoke filled womb was sickening to me. Think of your lil' honey!

Good luck..And try that book, it's worth a shot!! Your baby will thank you. ;o)

i did it I havent had a cigg in about 5 days, it feels good, even when I smell it I feel like puking. Its all worth it have a healthy baby and healthy body. Thanks for all you help
