My belly always seems smaller in the morning and then by afternoon or evening it seems to expand and then in the morning it is small again. Does this happen to anyone else?

Ya, im the same way. Its probably cause you eat during the day. But I always eat all my food at night, so im small all day. And thats probably why I cant sleep at night, cause im all sugared up.

I have a another question. Did anyone elses like lower stomach feel really heavy? Mine felt heavy for like 30 minutes and then it felt like someone was stretching it in a million different directions. Now I am looking at it and my weird sucking in only the top of my stomch is gone I can't suck in any of it. Has this happened to anyone else so quickly? I am 19 weeks

Mine is really heavy but thats now... And i'm at 36 weeks... Have they estimated the size of your baby? I know now I should go get a maternity belt if it bugs too much... But dont have any shame to get one at 19 weeks!

I guess sometimes the reason for that up and down belly syndrome can be attributed to bloting, or so I am told. The thing is that that happens to me too, but my belly isn't small in the mornings, it sticks out which I find rather strange if I am only 9 weeks. But by night time yes, it is huge for real, yet it doesn't seem to go down that much by the morning. Of course once I eat it does get bigger but like I said it hardly ever small in the mornings, it is quite noticeble that I am pregnant.

Yeah! Last night my fiancee noticed my belly (i am only 11w 6days) and said whoa! Your belly looks bigger than yesterday it's growing quick!

I said naw... It's not that big (i had looked at it earlier in the day) but then I went to look infront of the mirror and said yeah it's pretty big wow!

When I woke up this morning I went to look at my belly again and it's almost not even there!!!

I noticed that this past week, I think it's getting bigger and then I wake up the next day and it looks smaller.

Belly Size at 5 months
Hi Im 5 months pregnant and not showing much...i look as if Im about 2-3 months pregnant. I always had thick thighs, huge hips a bigg huge butt with a tiny waist and stomach. Every one seems to comment how small my belly is, Is this ok?? I took all the test at the doctor and they said evrything is ok, Im worried and when people comment they make me me feel bad and worried. I eat healthy fruits, Drink water, take my vitamins ..eat food and also eat sweets just the same as I normally would do. Has anyone been in this situation?

don't worry too much if u have big hips sometimes your belly looks smaller because your baby has enough room to sit in between your big hips. I actually stopped growing around 5mos for a while and then i was growing very slowly, and the doc noticed that and he would send me in for u/s every two weeks and then in turned into every week and i was later admitted to the hospital and i was on bed rest and eating like a pig and my belly finally grew a little bit, so i ended up getting induced before time because the doc wasn't sure what could be wrong and did it out of precaution, but my baby was born perfectly fine and healthy. I guess what they really look at is your fundal height and as long as that's fine you should be ok. everyone carries differently. my mom had big hips. i saw a picture of my mom when she was 6mos pregnant with me and u can barely tell she is pregnant, she said nobody even knew at the time that she was pregnant.

Thank you for your reply,I appreciate it greatly. I'm glad to know your baby was fine and healhly, after having a small belly like mine. And that your mom didnt show as much when she was having you. I guess we all carry diffently. Thanks A milion and best wishes to you and your entire family Smile

I hardly looked pregnant until my 8th month. As long as your fundal height (height from your pubic bone to top of your uterus) is on track, there's so cause for concern. That should equal, in centimeters, the week you are on (ie. 28wks you should measure 28cms).

My friend looked HUGE from 6mo on and her baby was 6lbs. I was tiny and my baby weighed a little over 8lbs. It all depends on how you are built to carry that baby. I wish you all the luck!
