I had jay 8 days ago, my bleeding slowed right down, and went a pinky brown colour, and now its gone red again. Its also starting to smell really bad, so im changing my pad every hour, even though theres not much blood on my pad after only an hour.
How long u sposed to bleed for after giving birth?

My stitches are fine, ive been keeping them clean, and I have hardly any pain there at all. But I have this really really bad pain around mt clitorus, it feels like im being pinched really really really hard with nails.

Is this normal, or should I tell the doc/midwife about it?

If it is normal, how long till im in no pain?

You can bleed any where form 3 weeks till 9 weeks or even longer!! I only bled for 3 weeks myself. Seeing that you have pain by your clitoris i'm assuming you might have some small tears there and that's why it's hurting like it is. But the bleeding can stop and end up spotting and then start up again. Just depends on the person. :)

Yeah, everything sounds normal. Idk about the bad smelling part. What do you mean? For me it was a strange smell, not like a period smell, but not like foul. Maybe call and ask, idk if that could be a sign of infection. I'm assuming not since you are feeling well otherwise.

Oo I forgets to ask about nappie rash.

She has this tiny lil spot on her bum which looks real red and sore, and she whimpers when I touch it.

Im using petrolium jelly on it, but what else can I use to clear it up, and prevent it?

Awww. Is it a rash or a cut? You may need to put something medicated on it. If it's a rash you can keep doing what you're doing. If it's a cut they have other things you can use. I'm not sure what in your country. Ask baby's doc.

Raw egg white is brilliant for nappy rash just wipe it in and leave it . I have 6 kids and used it with every one of them.

see you learn something new everyday. I have never heard of raw egg whites for a rash..
Btw. If it is still hurting you. I would just put a call in to them to let them know what is going on. The smell is probally just your body cleansing everything out tissue and etc. Good luck hun. It does get annoying at times

After my daughter I was bleeding for about 6 weeks and alot of pain around my stitches. That was 10 yrs. Ago and even now sometimes where my stitches were I get irritated and burning.

I always used women's over the counter yeast infection med. On my daughters bottom when she had a rash, it really cleared it up better than any diaper rash ointment or pet. Jelly...

One thing with the petrolum jelly you have to make sure its not prickly heat it will actually hold the heat in and cause it more pain. My daughter had a really bad rash I took her to the dr and he wrote her an rx which didn't help I let her sleep with no diaper on and then during th day changed her every hour and it still was bleeding so my boss told me to try oatmeal bath by aveeno and it cleared it up extremely fast!
