I am 23 years old and for about 4 years I
have a chronic pain, almost like a burning
sensation in my hip sockets. When I wake
up in the morning it is incredibly
painful. Also when I am sitting or
walking there is this dull, burning pain.
What could this be?
Thank you!

Do you ever get a stabbing pain right in
the joint of you hip when you move it to
quickly? The other symptoms you listed
seem similar to mine but I get a stabbing
pain with it and it is by far the worst.

Hi there, I am no Dr. But I feel for ya,
I live in chronic pain 24/7 and I just
keep moving even though it is hell most of
the time but it is the best thing I have
found that helps me to keep my mind off of
it, being young does not help either.
Have you had an x-ray? Have you seen a
dr? You might look up rsd(crps) that is
one of the things I was diagnosed with, it
has a lot to do with the burning pain and
the burning pain is hell to deal with, I
totally understand where you are coming
from. The first thing to do is get to a
Dr. And get some x-rays and possibly an
mri. Do not be surprised if one of the
dr's. Tell you that it is all in your
head, just move on to another Dr. Until
you get answers(beware, it might not be
the answers you want), keep on their
butt's until you get some help. Keep us
posted on what you find out and how you
are doing as I know you posted this
2-10-05.
Sincerely,
sandy

Thank you for your replies! I took a
medicine called glucosamide (glucosamene)
for a week and I really did feel a
difference. I should be going to a doctor
because I am runner and it could mean I
have athritis! If you have any more
advice let me know!
Thank you!
