To want to be pregnant at the age of 14? It's weird, I want to be, then again I can't because i'm too young, and I don't wanna stuff up my life. I've got lots of years ahead of me and everything, if I had a baby I wouldn't be able to do what I want to. Anyone else like this?

To want to do something and to actually do something are two very different things. U can want to be pregnant all u want, just don't actually do it til ur old enough and secure enough to care for the baby. I know when I was 15, my friend had a baby and all I wanted to do was have one too, but I knew I wasn't ready to do it full time so I just got to take care of hers for her whenever I wanted. So eventually everyone just started calling him my baby and the urge just kinda went away for a bit. I mean, I still wanted one, but taking care of him was enough for me at the time. I knew I wasn't secure enough or old enough to have one of my own. Just wait til ur ready. U'll be glad u did (no offense to max, or hil or ka, or any of the other young mommies.)

Just don't ive been there done that! I wouldn't trade my son for anything, but the reality is, the hardships of having a kid at 14 are not over now that he's 4 and i'm 18. There are the stares from the other mothers and whispers when they find out I am his mother (even worse that I look about 15). Also, the chances of having a preemie are high, my first one was 33.5 wks along, and had few problems. But my daughter was born at nearly 30 wks and she will be in the hospital up until wednesday. (its been 5 wks already). This is reality, I wouldn't trade my son, but I do wish I had had him older.

No not weird that you would like to have one, but it would be wierd if you tried to get pregnant. You've got a while before you should think about kids...Enjoy teenage years!
