Heart Murmur & Concerns

I am 24 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I went to see a normal doc due to some headache problem. Then the doc told me I got heart murmur problem, my heart beat faster than normal, this may cause I can't deliver my baby naturally. Does anyone has idea on this? The doc recommend I go for further check up or let my practitioner doc know about it.
My next appointment for will on this month end, but I am so worry about it. I always feel short of breathe, dizzy .... Is it because of heart murmur?
I dun have this kind problem before, not sure is it I got heart problem b4 my pregnancy or just because my pregnancy caused the heart murmur.
Pls advise....... I am so worry. Even I am sitting in the office or room, I can feel short of breathe too. :(
thanks !!

Joe is spamming agian.

Regarding the heart murmur, the heart and blood vessels are strained a lot during pregnancy, and a murmur is not uncommon. Your heart has to pump somewhere around 1/3rd to 1/2 more blood than when you are not pregnant, and murmurs are not uncommon.

As long as the heart doesn't get to strained, it will go right back to normal afterwards. Just watch your blood pressure and don't strain and excert yourself to much.

Not a bad idea to get your blood pressure checked weekly for awhile.
