missed 9 pills
Posted: 02-15-05 23:53pm

My purse was stolen on frdiay feb 4. My first pack of bc pills were in there. I had a week and two pills left in the pack when it got stolen. Keep in mind this is my first pack. So I missed those 9 pills. I was at my boyfriend place for the weekend, so I couldnt start up my refill pack----i got my period that sunday, feb, 6. It ended friday, feb 11. So I started up my pills this sunday, feb 13th.

I am just curious if I can get sick from missing those 9 pills from my stolen pack. I had unprotected sex thursday the 10th(i still had my period), I know you should use condoms during your first two packs and all that, but it was an accident that it was unprotected(it came off while we were having sex, and didnt know til we were done) anyways, I just want to know if missing 9 pills and then starting them again a week later can make me sick. The day I started the pills back up, I got bad stomach cramps(bad pains where I couldnt sit bend over or suck in), I had to pee every hour on the hour, sometimes more, and I was eating a ton!!!

Please help,
thanks!

It shouldn't really make you sick to stop pills and then start taking them again. I could see you not feeling well if you missed one pill and then took two in one day (you're supposed to do that if you miss one). You should be okay, but if you're still not feeling better in a couple days you should talk to your doctor's nurse about it.
