I Saw a Child At the End of My Bed!

Mess up story, sounds like you got freaked out!! But remember this your brain does some wierd stuff, it can do anything to you. I had the same thing with my grandma. Your brain can make anything feel real. I have seen people move stuff without touching it. You can trick yourself, I do it all the time. But I am not saying it didnt happen but it could of been your head playing games on you also!!!

Abortion isnt the end of the world, the child didnt even know what was going on. The child isnt even human 2 1/2 in your stoumach, it is a bunch of cells getting to regret a human. Just think if your mom had abortion you would have never know what happen or you belong in life.

I just wondered if when your under that much stress it can cause you to see stuff....Never happened to me before...I thought I was going to have to get checked in!

See a doctor hehe jk but dont let that abortion thing take over your life you must be pretty young still, but seriously it isnt the end of the world I wouldnt be here right now if my aunt didnt give my mom 10,000 to have me, my mom was going to have an abortion but im here I would have never known I was going to be here or not. Death is a part of life. But yeah with me seeing my dead grandma that was freaky lol. I have ghost in my house all my cabinets were open one morning that was the freakest thing in the world I have seen I live alone too and cat isnt smart enough and strong enough to do that lol

I feel that sometimes your subconscious plays tricks on us when we are tired or stressed or anxious. Having an abortion isn't a bad thing, you did what was right at the time. You need to forgive yourself and move on, try to think of positive, happy thoughts.

A lot of times when you are worried about something or not happy with a decission you make you start to freak yourself out and your concience gets a hold of you. You are not going crazy or anything of the sort. Usually it helps to confront the issue. Maybe talk to people about it. Or try having another child. You can't change the past but you can change the future and it helps to get things off your chest. Especially with such traumatizing things as an abortion. Talk to some one it usually helps.

yours are the only letters that I really relate to and I thought we could help each other if we wrote back and forth. I too had an abortion. It was in june of 2003, a decision that haunts me. Just wanted you to know you are not alone.

This is actually common. Although the apa (american pregnancy association) claims that pas (post abortion synd.) is fake, the studies they use do not target the correct audience. Pas affects (mostly) women who had abortions 5 years before. The studies the apa uses only asks women who have had abortions in the past 1 year.

This is common in over 60% of women who have had abortions more than 5yrs in the past.

Pregnancy is a natural cycle and when it is upset with something as violent and as un-natural as an abortionand negative effects are bound to happen; both psyically and psycologically.

Steen is correct. Pas is soooo rare it is not even worth mentioning, a lot of times it is just a quick fix for dr's. To use as a diagnosis. We along with others have further researched this and if the docs would research it further they would find out that the problem is further before the abortion, it is just that the abortion brings it out. If it is a forced or some what pushed abortion, then you might have other problems that can be taken care of.

Sarah, certainly stress and significant worrying about something can cause biref visual hallucinations. That by itself doesn't make you crazy or anything like that, it just shows that you are stressed.

Why couldnt it have been super natural?? Sounded like it to me. Maybe it had nothing to do with the abortion and she just related her stress of the abortion to this young child. I dont know I geuss it could have been anyof the things you all were talking about but hummm... That would freak me out

I agree with fatfamily02, this was spiritual. Maybe the lord was letting you know that your child is ok. Once you have asked jesus to forgive you he removes your sin as far as the east is from the west and remembers them no more. Now, you have to forgive yourself and trust that god is taking care of your child, (which was really his child all along) just like you are his child and he is able to take care of you as well.
As far as research on the effects of abortion, I would think that there is no way to accurately access, due to the long denial that most men and women experience, and then if they do deal with it it’s quietly and alone. And that’s too bad…

sounds like you received christ at some point in your life or he is pursuing you now… it is his laws that are stressing you; otherwise you would not feel a twinge of guilt, and it is his grace that is pursuing you.
