Please Help/my Doctor Wont!
Posted: 11-02-03 10:36am

For the last month I have been really really sick...Im scared and confused about what is happening to my body. I fist did a pregnancy test and it came out negative (thank god!) and my menstrations are normal, then I had myself tested for any sexually trasmitted diseases and that too came back free of problems. My doctor thinks that I am suffering from a severe case of hypocondriatia, meaning im either making it up for attention or I am going crazy. My first and foremost symptom is that everytime I eat, just as I am finishing I get severe stabbing pains in my upper abdomen. (not gas because none comes out and the pain eventually goes away) I have a great tolerance for pain but this brings me to tears. I sometimes vomit from the pain. There does not seem to be a realtion the the foods I eat and the pain. I dont eat spicy foods. I rarely drink alchohol, and I stay the hell away from acidy fruits, believe me!!!!!
I am becoming excessively tired all the time and weak. I have been to the hospital because I fainted and they told me it was because I was undersurished. I tried to tell them that I do eat all the time but I cant keep it down. They performed a blood test and told me I probably had the flu or common cold. Then they sent in a social worker who thought I was bolemic! I dont know what to do anymore nobody has answers!

Maybe you are eating too fast, or are not chewing your food well enough. In the past when I have experience similar problem that was the cause of it. I'm sorry I don't have any other recommendations. I hope you get the information you need. If it keeps on, i'd try another doctor. I hope you feel better soon.
