Sex & Ttc

Is it ok to be having sex every day when you know around about the time that you are to be ovulating. We have been ttc for 6 months now and nothing. We were having sex every other day from the day my period ended till it started again. Also I was staying on my back for at least a half hour with my legs up after sex. Now my husband said 'screw it we are going to have sex every day to make a baby' glad he is into it but is this ok? This is the time that I should be ovulating. I have been taking my temp and it has not really gone up. For the past week it has been between 97.1 and 97.3

Yesterday was actually spontanious. I had just had a shower and was putting the clothes away and making the bed when my husband came it. Do you know hard it is to make a bed when his hands are all over you. On top of that, whenever I make the bed the cat likes to come in and play with the sheets as I throw them up. Try getting intamate with your husband when the cat is in the room meowing. He is like a child sometimes!

it is ok to have sex everyday but when my husband and I were trying to conceive and had no luck, the doctor recomended to have sex every other day, because having sex everyday means that his sperm level is not as high. So theres not as much coming out. Also try not to think about it. If you think about it too much it wont happen. I used to keep my legs up on a pillow for a half hour too. As soon as we stopped trying sooo hard we got pregnant. Its hard not to think about but enjoy the momment and good luck. ********baby dust*********

Like you said it is hard not to think about it but when I do I try to think positive. We are moving in 5 weeks so I am trying to concentrate on that and get alot of packing done. That is what my weekend was all about. What about my temp?

A little to late to hold off since this is the week that I should be ovulating. Tomorrow to be exact I think. We did somewhat hold off a bit. Had sex monday when he got back from las vegas. (no he didnt win anything) and then not till saturday since he had been sick and I didnt want him near me.

We have only been trying for 6 months so they wont even see us until at least a year. I am only 31. If I was over 35 they would see me after 6 months

Yes, you def have to think about his sperm count. And I think having sex like a week before and a couple days after you ovulate is plenty. (as far as conceiving, the rest of the month - have fun!!!)

Try to have as much "spontaneous" sex as possible!! That usually works the best for people who are ttc!! ::babydust::

Will try. He is usually so tired after work though and with him being off all last week I can see him being really tired tonight. Thats ok though as we need a day off. Will pounce on him tomorrow night!
