I Need Advice!!!!!

I am 16 years old and I am 5 months pregnant by my 21 year old boyfriend of almost two years. I live in indiana and I need to know if he can get in trouble. My parents love him but they think that he is 18. They kno we have a great relation ship and we are serious. How can I put him on the birth certificate without them seeing his age until I am ready to tell them myself? Any advice will help!!!!! :(

I don't know the specifics, but off the top of my head, it sounds like he could get into trouble. So don't ignore this, find somebody who knows and sort it out.

Well at 18 wouldn't he be considered an adult??

I really think you should be honest with you parents about this......I can see them being more upset about you lying to them this whole time rather than the fact that his is 21!! It's time to come forward hun, before it's too late...

You wanted to know if you bf who is 21years old will get in trouble and in is no age of consent in indiana is 16. Sit your parents down and and tell them the truth about his age. Think a bout it this way when your child is born and your age would you want her to tell you the truth????

1. Consent means permission
2. A minor is a child (or a person under the age of 18 in most states)
3. Age of consent means at what age they can legally have sex (see statutory rape laws)
4. Statutory rape means basically rape of a minor (whether it was with the minor's permission or not) and can be considered in some states as rape, sexual assult, sexual misconduct, etc.


Indiana age of sexual consent: 16

Id do some research as to your state laws... And most definetly tell your parents the truth...
