Just a Little Question...but I Need Help Posted: 02-22-05 15:56pm
I just started taking the patch and I took
it the first day of my period. I was just
wondering if my period was supposed to
stop or finish or what?? Im confused cuz
I dont know what is supposed to happen.
Also I got them from they gyno but the box
said sample not to be sold...I dont know
if it just says that or if I really
shouldnt use them....Help!

Uck...I tried using the patch but the
first full day I was on it I threw up 12+
times and had to go back to the pill :(

I've been on the patch since june and
don't mind it. I doubt you would see any
change in your period. When I asked
about it my doctor gave me the sample kit
& it's exactly what you'd get from the
pharmacy. Nothing wrong with using it...
Drug reps bring in samples to give to
patient's all the time - I work for a gyn
& we have samples up the ying yang!!

:) it's ok to use them. They mean that
they give samples to doctors to give to
patients and they're not suspossed to sell
them. Your period should finish normally
like always. I've been on the patch for a
year and I love it. I could never
remember to take the pill everyday. Hope
