Has anyone tried provera to regulate your periods? And if so did it cause any real side effects?..

I've used provera many times to start a period. I am not regular so after day 35 and no period, my doc would give me provera. At first it was pills, but more recently it's been an injection.
I've had no side effects from the medication. The pills didn't always activate the period, that's why we switched to the shot!

Thanks.. Well I was givin the pills to take for 10 days to start mine and I havent gotten it and this is day 10 .. Anywayz the doc told me to stop taking them and wait 2 weeks and if it comes then im good but if it doesnt to come in and go from there.. Im waiting on my blood tests results to see if I have something like pcos I hope not.. I hope its just delayed period because my body is just out of wack from quitting bc who knows...
