Ok first I wasnt sure where to put this
but I hope its in the right spot, but well
see i'm 17 and umm I have a huge chest lol
and well I sloutch alot when I stand or
sit and it hurts if I try to sit ur stand
up straight after a while and i'm about
5'8 so I guess i'm average height for a
girl, and so my aunt told me I should get
a breast reduction, cos she thinks the
weight is making me sloutch or whatever
but i'm not sure if I should do it because
i'm still young and I just turned 17 and I
dont want it to screw up my body later,
such as if I had it done in the summer,
since i'm still growing will it make my
chest look weird or something, but i'm not
sure what do to, because i'm not a "big"
person but i'm not tiny either so I dunno
if weight plays into that but i'm not
sure...I asked the doctor and she said
that I couldnt do it till I was 17 and
well I am now and i'm not sure what I
should do, any suggestions?

My aunt is the same way except she didn't
get a breast reduction and now she has
back and neck problems from the extra
weight. Some of you breast sime has to
do with heredity and some has to do with
your weight and how much fat there is on
your body. You should do what makes you
comfortable but if it is going to hurt
your body then you should get the
reduction.

Back and neck problems is common with
smaller girls with larger breasts. A
reduction might be in order if this
becomes very problematic, although I do
believe you're still too young to make
this decision indefinately. I would be
much more inclined to recommend you
strengthen your back muscles, neck
muscles, and tone your whole body while
you're at it. In other words, go to the
gym. There is no such thing as "breasts
are too big for my back to support it"...
It is more in the realm of, "my back is
not strong enough to support my
breasts".
Unless there are more severe side
effects/problems from your breast size, I
would say keep it as is until you're a bit
older.

I'm not even sure they would give you a
surgery until you're over 18 unless you
absolutely needed it. I'd check on that
just to make sure.
