It's not a proven fact, but is often right. Higher like 150 (i don't know the numbers exactly, both my girls were 160s) girl and lower is a boy.

I dont beleive the last myth because greg and I had sex almost every day and I am having a little girl! But if your baby's heart beat was that high then maybe you are having a girl! What would you prefer?

Ditto. I have two girls. What you might be thinking about is that male sperm are fast and have short life spans, and female sperm are slow and have longer life spans. That is a fact.

Hehe I disprove that myth :) my mom was told she was having a boy even up til delivery because my heart rate was below 150 everytime. She never had an ultrasound so she wasn't sure.. But nope, i'm very much female! I heard my baby's heartbeat yesterday at my appointment, but the doctor never mentioned how fast it was.

Isn't there some wise tale thats says if you hang your wedding band on a string hold it in your hand and drop the band if the ring swings is one gender and if it twists and spins it another. Anybody know what it is?

I think if it swings in a circular motion, it's a girl and if it swings back and forth it's a boy. It worked for my mom both times and I heard it's worked for some other people.

Dylan slept thru the last appt didnt kick the doc or anything totally sleeping it took her forever to find the heart beat and it was all low.. My doc just laughed shes like wow the first time hes ever not a spaz! Haha
