Well the first question would be why haven't you taken your prenantals in so long? And when you did stop taking them you should have consulted your doctor first. It's really hard to get all the nutrients your baby needs to grow by just eating food, but if you eat healthy and enough foods from all the food groups so you can get all the nutrients and vitamins you and your baby need, then not taking your prenatals shouldn't be that big of a risk. But my advice is to consult with your doctor. Good luck :)

Re
I have been out of town longer than I planned and my supply of prenatels has run out, I do plan to take them as soon as I return, I just wanted to know if my little guy is being hurt by my not taking them in so long. I normally take then regularly.

I dont know if its hurt him. But if your going to be out of town much longer, they have ones you can buy at walmart. Thats where I got mine. My doctor didnt even give me any, cause I was already taking them. So you can get them at a store if your ever in need.

Yes you need to be taking a vitamin! Not any special brand just a good womans health multi-vitamin and a folic acid supplement. We are 2 months preganant now and my wife isnt getting the regular prenatal because it has a tendancy to make her sick. As long as she has her womans "one-a-day" and an extra folic acid, she is doing great as well as the baby.

It is almost impossible to eat enough food in quantity and variety to feed you growing child and the last month of cook time is very imporant to how your child is going to be when he/she comes out. Sick or healthy, you are the only way that child can get thier food and oxygen.

Please get a multi-vitamin as soon as possible.
