Hi, i'm new here, and have a question.

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. 4 weeks ago I noticed that after sitting for awhile when I get up the bed of my right thumb nail will turn dark blue! Just my right hand. I told my obgyn about this and she sent me to my cardiologist ( I have mild mvp). There I had an echo done, which came out fine, my blood and pulmonary pressure were fine and my heart did not appear to be under any stress. So needless to say neither my cardio, nor my obgyn know what is going on. I have also had mly glucose checked just a few weeks ago and it came out fine.
I have no other symptoms involved in this. No pain or swelling of my right hand, no numbness or tingling - just my thumb nail turning blue for about 20 seconds to 1 minute.
I tend to notice this the most when I get up from my desk after being seated for a while to go to the restroom. When I wash my hands (always in warm water) I notice that my thumb nail is dark blue. It seems to happen most when I am leaning over a bit, as in washing my hands at the sink.

Anybody have any advice or similar experiences??

Thank you.

4 weeks ago she noticed her nail thing.
She still has 8 weeks to go on being pregnant though.

I dont know about the nail thing, maybe its just cause you slammed it in something? I dont think it has anything to do with being pg though.
