Needing to Vent Concernes! Posted: 03-13-05 14:11pm
Well...Here goes...I guess my first
question is that i'm about 10 weeks
pregnent, and I had just come back from a
vacation about 3 weeks ago, and i'm
wonering, a doctor I went to said I had
the norwalk virus, and I was wondering
would that in any shape or forum hurt the
baby. Its something that’s been going
through my mind, and before I knew I was
pregnant, I was taking antibiotics to
treat the virus, so i'm wondering if
that’s not a good thing to be taking,
and well of course i've stopped.
Also I have been taking just normal
multi-vitamins, and yesterday I went to
wal-mart, and asked what's good for
pregnant women, and he gave me these
prenatal vitamins, and my question is, he
said its better to take "prenatal
vitamins" but i'm wondering, are normal
multi vitamins as good, or can they "hurt"
the baby in anyway?
I guess the reason i'm so concerned about
everything, is because I miscarried at
about 10 weeks. So everyday that I get
morning sickness, or I just feel like
crap, just brings a smile to my face that
my baby is still alive! And for sure
that’s the greatest feeling in the
world. Though I have more to vent, i'll
write a liittle bit later

Ive never heard of the virus so I cant
help you there...
But as far as vitamins go multis are good
but prenatals are best while pregnant the
offer the wide range of support for you
and your baby and the changes you are
about to endure

Multis are just fine...As long as you're
getting enough calcium & folic
acid....Don't get sucked in to
pre-natals....Just compare labels if
you're not sure.....I too miscarried at 10
weeks, it's heartbreaking, but i'm 7 weeks
now and i'm with you...I love the nausea
and peeing alot, and being hormonal...And
tired....I'm pulling for you (us!).....
