I think only if exercised to the point of
extreme exhaustion would it cause
miscarriage. You might still want to
talk to your doctor but I think you are
okay. Maybe you should take it easy for a
the next couple of days since you had such
a large day today

Dont go run a 10k marathon but walking
around all day is just fine they want you
to keep fit from day 1

Yeah, they just don't want you to decide
to become a runner after you are pregnant.
Ya know, you can do what you did prior
to pregnancy with no worries (as long as
you don't overdue it) just don't decide to
start aerobics now!
Walking around really should be fine, but
yeah, talk to your doc about your activity
level prior to pregnancy and what if
anything you should change now. You
should be just fine, but if it will make
you feel better then talk to your doc.
If you were pretty active prior to
pregnancy then ask your doc about the
workout tapes made for pregnant women.
You could do those to stay in shape
throughout the pregnancy. Well, as much
shape as you can stay in during pregnancy,
you aren't going to have a six pack or
anything!Lol.

I mean I am 41 weeks pregnant and I walk 3
or so miles a day (like around the lake)
aside from all the stuff I do in my
regular day cleaning the house walking
around, grocery shopping, errands, etc...

Dont worry, ive been walking to work the
whole time i've been pregnant (like a mile
both ways) and i'm now 30 weeks and
everything is fine. At 5 weeks your
fine...Lots of walking later on might just
make you tired. But dont worry....Stress
is worse that a little walk.
