I found out that I was pregnant today and
I really dont know how to tell my parents
because I think that they are going to be
disappointed I guess its cuz of my age but
I am 20 yrs old and very independent and I
live on my own but can someone help me and
tell me a way how to break the news to my
parents.

Yeah....My mom was with me when she found
out....And i'm only 18. She drank vodka
for a couple days but she's even more
excited than I am now about it. I think
the only person you might wanna watch out
for is your partner's parents.....My
boyfriend's mom won't have him have
anything to do with me and the baby now
and I miss him. Really.....How they react
is up to how they are.....If they're nice
and understanding they should be alright
with it after a day or so....But if
they're usually mean and controlling it
might take a while longer. It really all
depends....But yes.....Straight up is
better and the sooner the better so you
can start your check-ups and vitamins.

Oh, qt....You'll be fine...Once it's out,
you'll feel so much better......My mom was
shocked (i'm 34!)....So I told her to have
a drink & call me back as I didn't
need her negativity at the moment....I
guess i'm still her baby girl....It only
took a few minutes, and she was
delighted...I'm pulling for ya!!!

Im 21 weeks pregnant and just turned 20 in
feb. I was scared to tell my parents..
I sat them down and told them that im
pregnant and had no intensions of
abortion. They were upset at first but..
I told them that this is my
responsibility and ready for the long road
ahead.. Eventually they understood and
now they are supporting me 100%. It
might be hard at first but talking to them
is the best way.. Good luck

i say just let it out. Your an adult now,
and if your ready to take on the
responsibility then they should be able to
support you. I am 20 years old and 32
weeks pregnant, but it was planned so my
parents knew it was coming, but good luck
hun

Just start talking then spill the beans,
or call her on the phone and when she
answers say hi grandma, that breaks the
ice really quick.
