I have a few questions first does anyone
know if lupus might cause you to feel like
your whole body is falling asleep? The
reason I ask is because I was in the
hospital after giving birth to my daughter
and never got any answers they tested me
for lupus but the test came back
inconclusive so noone did anything . My
symptoms went away until this past few
days i've been really itchy and when I lie
down my nbody feels like it is falling
asleep the whole thing my arms get really
bad you know needle feelings, and it takes
only seconds sometimes for this to happen.
I do not undestand what is happening and
just wanted to know from someone if they
think it might be lupus. Someone please
reply i'm very scared I need something
here.

Ive had lupus for almost 4 years, and
never heard of what you described. I do
however have a pinched nerve in my back,
and causes constant tingling in my leg,
maybe get your back checked, maybe there
is something going on with your
nerves...... Im not a doc.. But if its
the numbin sensation.... Thats where I
would start.....
Good luck!
Best wishes

Try a Neuro Doc Posted: 03-29-05 20:15pm
It sounds like you could have some nerve
damage check to see if you could set-up a
nerve conduction study or an emg it can
sometimes pin point nerve damage hope you
get to feeling better
