Q: Pregnancy Hormone

Does anyone know if some women never have the pregnancy hormone show up in urine, or show up later than normal in pregnancy? I have several pregnancy symptoms, but all hpt show negative. I would be about 7 wks. I am 37, which might have something to do with it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Urine Tests
I am at about 5wks gestation. I am going to wait until I will be at 6 wks gestation, and if I am still having symptoms (which at this point are stronger than when I first posted), I will schedule a visit to an obgyn for the blood test. Thanks for the imput.

Extremely eHealthy
At 5 weeks, the beta-hcg should show up in the urine. So if you still suspect that you are pregnnat, get the blood test instead.
