Hi, im new to this forum, I decided to
join since im a guy and im pretty clueless
about birthcontrol. I'd like to educate
my self and help out my g/f. She began
takin the pill at the beginning of the
month of march, just yesturday, the 15th
she forgot to take the pill, is this a big
deal, she's on her third week and hasn't
missed any other days, I don't know if she
has read the instructions very well but I
wanna know. She should simply continue
with the corresponding pill for today
correct? Also do these pills cause
nausea or dizzyness, she was feeling that
as well yesturday, but what may have
affected was that she didn't eat any
breakfast and a light lunch and dinner.
Thanks

C'on no one can give me any help, this
happened a while ago and i've read is not
too big of a deal to miss one day, but no
contributions. Ok well changing topics a
bit, so I won't need to start another
thread, my girlfriend today she felt a bit
of discharge, when she checked it was
blood, she bled a bit. She's on her 4th
week on the pill and should be getting her
period in about a week or so. This is
the first time she'll be having her period
but she had some spot bleeding. We had
intercourse this past weekend. Also she
has been feeling nauseas and had to throw
up a couple of times. Any advice or
comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The nausea is a sort of common side effect
for women who have just started taking the
pill, so don't worry too much about that.
Hopefully that will go away soon.
Eating a little more than usual seems to
help me deal with the nausea I get with
mine. Perhaps you could make your lady a
nice dinner too. ;)
it's especially important that she takes
the rest of her pills on schedule since
she missed one of the pills. It's not a
huge deal, but make sure she doesn't
forget any more. Once you start
forgetting, it's easy to just keep on
forgetting.

First of all, she should be taking the
pill for a whole month before you consider
it in affect. (the intercourse you had-
was it protected?) if she misses one day
she should make it up and take two the
next day.

The intercourse was semi protected, we had
a bit of penetration for a short time then
retrieved to use a condom. She didn't
take the pill she missed the day for, I
think she was told by her doctor not to
take it if misse, simply to keep on.
Should she take it now even though it has
beeb more than a week? Thanks for your
replies.

No I think you are to only take the missed
pill if you notice when it is time to take
your next one. If not, then you need to
skip it and use other protection until
next month.

How about the little bleeding that occured
today? Is this normal in the first
couple of months/weeks? She's also been
getting little light brown dots around her
face, sort of like birthmarks but light.

The way the pill works is, if you miss
lets say sunday, monday tuesday and
wednesday you still have to take them.
You are on thursday and you would take
that pill plus sunday's pill. On friday
you would take friday's and monday's.
Etc. Is she is getting sick, she shuld
seriously consider a different
pill....Modicon or nordette.
