Birth Control Forum - They Won't Steralize Me....

:( I have a medical condition that prevents me from carrying to term..Or even close to term..I have a uterus that is kinda misformed into a heart. Once the baby gets about twenty weeks...Or even earliar thats about as far as I could carry a baby. We found out with our first baby at about twenty five weeks...Since he had iugr he was abnormally small so he was ok...At twenty eight weeks we had induced labour. A normal sized baby would have never been able to go that long. As well, he almost died to his preamature size. Obviously it is not worth me trying again. Since then we had one miscarriage....I didn't know I was pregnant cause I took depo provera and was about three months in...So I guess I got pregnant probley the week I had the shot..Which is weird because I was on my period...But go figure. So now we are very paranoid about getting pregnant again due to the 99% chance I willl lose the baby or not carry to a point the baby will be able to live. So we decided that one of us will get steralization. I would prefer it would be me. Since...Hear me out now...What if my husband and I broke up in the next twenty years? It is my problem medically so obviously I can't have more babies, but what if we split and he wants to have more kids? Not saying we will but it weighs on my mind...But we are thinking about him doing it too. Here is the problem they won't do it ....Even though we already have a baby between us, even though it is medically documented that I cannot carry a baby to term, that it would be risky mentally for me to go through all of that again they won't do it.

So what do we do? I can never remember the pill, I hate depo....I gain a ton of weight on it and have no intrest in sex....My mom got pregnant with me with the iud...Besides I hate taking a foriegn hormone for the rest of our lives till menopause. Condoms suck..Sorry they do..
Ugh....So frustrating. We are willing even to freeze some embryos in case we want to do surrogate mother ...But I don't think we will because that is not very popular up here...Adoption is probley what we will do in a couple of years...Anyway any suggestions?
