Q: Sleeping..

This past month I havent been sleeping properly. Im extremely exhausted during the day but as soon as I hit bed I just cant seem to fall asleep. Because of this im getting kind of like "cramps" on the lower and upper part of my stomach (just below and above my tummy) im afraid that the lack of sleep is hurting my baby. I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. I have talked about the sleep before but all he could do was suggest a few days off of work (sleeping pills can harm the baby) but it didnt help. Has anyone been through this? Im afraid and the stress from this is just keeping me up more. Help Sad

Not Sleeping Well....
Monroe,
how far along are you?

At a certain stage of your pregnancy, lack of sleep is pretty common.

I'm not sure if sleepless nights could hurt your baby, but I do know that stress is not healthy for either of you. Are you not sleeping well due to pain, or is your mind just going and going all night?

When I was pregnant with my first child, I was totally alone. I stayed awake every night because I was scared and depressed, ( not to mention confused). If that may be to blame, than you may want to talk about what is bothering you. I'm here for ya,
marissa
