Hi

i have a question. I have been having mood swings since I was a teenagerer, i'm now 22. There would be days I wouldnt want to talk to anyone. I would have bad atittude and bad mood swings. Some days I would be depressed and wouldnt want to talk to anyone. I would wake up hating the world and everyone in it. I'm concearned because this I have been told by a few friends of mine and even my mom. Also I sometimes think about not living, its not like I would do it..I dont think I would ...But I do think about it. I have been through a hard time this past year, my father died about a year ago and my mother was diagnosed with cancer she also remarried not very long after my father passed. My question is ...Could I have a hormonal inbalance? Do I have a mood disorder? Should I talk to a therapist?
I really need help.

I have had some really bad mood swings since I was in the 4th grade. My pain started after my grandfather died. I went from not eating to eating and then throwing it back up. I then started popping pills and drinking all before I hit the 8th grade. Well that was 9 years ago. Today I am alot better my mood swings have went from 7 or 8 a day to just 2 in a whole week. I just went and talk to everyone I had major problems with. And it helped me.. I went to over 4 therapist and it took time for me to get it together. Sit down and talk to your mother and start there before going to a therapist because they all wanted dope me up and one even talked about getting me one of those prety jackets so I can give myself love all day long lol. So take your time talk and then see if you need to go to a therapist. Wish you the best. :)
