Yes, very dangerous... Low bp is called
hypotension.
Hypotension usually means blood pressure
that is lower than 90/60 mmhg (millimeters
of mercury) or is low enough to cause
symptoms. When the blood pressure is too
low there is inadequate blood flow to the
brain and other vital organs,
light-headedness or fainting may occur.
A common type of hypotension is postural
(also known as orthostatic) hypotension,
in which suddenly standing leads to
light-headedness and fainting.

Can it cause major health problems or kill
u. Or is it only dangerous because of the
fainting?

Fainting can kill you. What happens if
you were swimming or at the beach and you
blacked out? How about while driving?

I've been told I have hypotension by an
experienced first aider. He checked my bp
once, and told me I was about 95/55.. And
last time I checked.. It was 89/52... I
experience heart thumping very slow.. My
general pulse is 72/minute.. Is that
normal? I also suffer from low blood
sugar (hypoglycemia).. I have to eat
small frequent meals.. Otherwise I might
faint..
But how do I tell if I have low bp or
hypoglycemia.. The symptoms are so
alike.. When I stand up I feel
lightheaded... What do I do..
