Whats Going On Am I Or Arn't I Pregnant? Posted: 03-21-05 15:38pm
Hi, im in need of some advice. Im 24 and
came off the pill 3 months ago to try for
a baby. This month 14th my period was on
time but only lasted 1 and a half days and
was very light, 16th and 17th nothing at
all, and now ive had brown spotting since
18th and it looks like it stopped today.
Also been having very slight cramping and
generally feeling different. I did a test
on the 20th but it was negative so now im
wondering whats going on cause it's never
happened before?

Was this your first period since coming
off of the pill?? Or had you had periods
regularly after getting off b/c??

It could be from coming off of the pill or
you could be pregnant and you just don't
have enough of the hormone needed to make
the pregnancy test show up positive....Try
again in a couple days! :)

I came off the pill at the beginning of
january and have had 2 periods since it's
just this month that has been weird.

Well like I said, retest. Make sure you
do it first thing in the morning!! :)

It could be from just coming off the pill,
I had weird periods after that. But if
you think you are pregnant then retest!

Well if you are having a weird period
after bc then you are not alone..... Its
been 4 months since I stop taking the
pills the first3 months I had a regular 28
day cycle then last month I ended up
taking meds to get my period to come, this
month is the same thing it is now 9 days
late....I am gonna give it till pass 14
days late to test again if it is neg then
I go see my gyno...... I am 31 and now
desperately trying to have a baby at times
I feel like there is no hope for me, but
try and do what I am trying to do "not
stress yourself" and hopefully all will
work out in the end.........

Can you have a short light period then
have implantation bleeding a few days
later? The brown spotting was definatly
something ive never had before.
And I did another test today and it was
still negative could it still be to early
