Is It Too Late to Skip My Period Posted: 03-22-05 18:56pm


This past sunday I finished taking my 3rd week of birth control pills. Therefore, this wednesday I should be getting my period. However, I realized today that I want to skip my period for this coming weekend. If I was planning on skipping my period earlier, I would have taken pills on sunday and monday. Is it too late now to start a new set of pills to skip my period for this weekend? Since it would be missing two days of pills, would I be at risk for pregnancy if I could still skip my period for this weekend? I wasn't sure if missing the pills would make me at risk, since technically, if I wasn't going to try to skip my period, I wouldn't be taking any anyways. Thanks for any advice

I don't think there would be any pregnancy risk since you are overlapping and not missing any days, however it's probably too late to miss your period and you'd probably just screw up your cycle.
