Hey, I posted a while back saying I was
about to get birth control, but when I was
about to go to my appointment my mom
wouldn't let me go. This was a while
back and i'm 16 now, so I just got my dad
to bring me and we didn't tell my mom.
My doctor didn't make me have an exam,
since i'm 16 and i'm a virgin, but i'll
have to get one next time I go, but i'm
not too worried about it. I met the
doctor and everything, and she's cool, I
think I don't think i'll be too
uncomfortable with her. But anywho,
she gave me a prescription for yasmin.
Is anyone else on this? If so, what
are your experiences with it? I'd
just like to know more about it so that I
don't get any surprises, since this is the
first time i'm on the pill. Responses
are very much appreciated. :)

Hi, I am also on yasmin. I'm about to
turn 20, and have been on yasmin for
almost two years. I started the pill
because I always had really bad cramps and
very heavy periods, and yasmin definately
helped that! I haven't had any bad side
effects that I am aware of. Short
periods (only like 3 days), light cramps
if any, only thing that didn't change
really was my pms. Its not like awful or
anything, but it didnt really get any
better. Good luck, and if you have any
questions about anything, feel welcome to
private message me!!

I tried to pm you and got an error, so I
have to retype it.
thanks for your reply! Your periods
sound like mine, I hope I have the same
success with yasmin. I started taking
them yesterday and I have slight nausea
and a weak appetite. The information
leaflet says this is normal and will go
away. Did you have a similar experience
when you first started your pills? If
so, when did it go away? Thanks again!

I've been on yasmin for about a month.
And ever since I started it i've gotten
headaches like everyday. But i'm going to
stick with this for acouple months,
hopefully the headaches will go
away...Only because yasmin has done
wonders for my period. It's actually
normal. :)

Twentyone,
did you start your pill at the right time,
and been taking it at the right times
since then? If so, you could maybe talk
to your doctor to make sure thats normal.
I couldn't tell you if it was normal or
not, cause I haven't had to switch b/t two
types of pills. Good luck!

i used to have the same thing at the end
of my periods and it stopped for a while.
Now that i'm on the pill it's started
again. I'm gonna do some research on
that, I think its normal but i'm not sure.

I found something already! The site
explains different normal discharges.
Hope it helps!
Brown: may happen right after periods, and
is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old
blood looks brown.
Yasmin was a reaalllllyyyy bad pill for
me. I quit on the 5th day. It made me
nauseus, weak ,tired, and severly
depressed which is mostly why I stopped
taking it. I was going on it to help my
acne with the benefit of not make me gain
weight. Any suggestions for a birth
control??????????????
