For about two years now my jaw has
popped/clicked every time I open my mouth.
Coincidently, that is when I got my
braces were put on. I never experience
any pain (up untill the last 3 days, but
my throat is swollen my the jaw area from
god knows what, and i'm pretty sure that's
the main reason). My mother tells me not
to worry, that my braces moved my jaw
around, I had an over bite which is much
better now, and I should be getting my
braces off this summer. I don't have any
of the other symptoms, and my mothers
friend said her jaw popped for years when
she was younger and one day it just
stopped. My mother's other theory is that
i'm still growing, so bones and such are
adjusting. Could any of this be the case?
Am I just a worry wart?
