My daughter is 10, has been running a fever for 5 days I took her to the Dr. Yesterday. Now she is still having fever, along with sores in her mouth. They are very sensitve. What does this indicate?

Mouth Sores?

It sounds to me like your daughter might have been coming down with chicken pox but i'm sure your doctor would have picked up on that. If you give a child anything for fever or pain at the onset of chicken pox...It causes them to break out inside instead of outside. The fever and the sores are her only symptoms? Could also be mono. In either case....Keep the interior of her mouth clean and rinse with warm soda water. This will draw the poison out of the sores and aid in healing. A mild solution of hydrogen peroxide and warm water might also be beneficial for rinsing her mouth after she brushes her teeth. Do not give orange juice to her as this could be the result of a high acid condition in her system. Good luck!
