Give or take about 7 months ago, I had a
porcelain crown put on my lower left
molar. My dentist recommended the
procedure because the tooth was mainly
composed of filling. Just recently, I
have been experiencing an incredible
amount of pain on that lower left molar.
I went to my dentist and she referred me
to an endodontist for a possible root
canal. Based on my understanding on root
canals and its complexities, if the
porcelain crown is damage because of the
root canal procedure, is my dentist liable
since this could have been prevented prior
to placing the crown?
