Hi, every night I wake up at 4am with
servere hunger pains, so bad that I have
to run to the kitchen to get something to
eat or else I feel as though I will be
sick (however I havent yet been sick).
This started a couple of months after my
15mth old boy was born and it's getting
worse. When it first started I just had
to eat a cracker or something and the
feeling would go, but now when it happens
even though my stomach is saying that im
extremely hungry as soon as I go to eat
something I feel like im going to be sick.
So I cant win either way!!! Im starting
to get really worried. I feel terrible in
the mornings too (no, im not
pregnant!!!!!). Ive been to lots of
doctors and know one can give me an
answer. Please, please, please can anyone
help me??? These pains are starting to
effect my whole life style. Im tired
cause I never get a decent night sleep and
I always feel off. I really do need some
help! Thank you

I remember seeing a tv special about this
on nbc10 once. They showed remdies to
cure hunger cravings in the middle of the
night. So maybe you could go to nbc10.Com
and look under archives (this was a long
time ago). Or maybe you have stomach
condition? Is it related to pregnancy????
Another sol'n is to try to see what
happens if you dont eat, what happens if
you do eat a whole meal and then go to the
doctor with better info on your conditon.
Then you wont feel so lost when they talk
about it. Or you could go to a website
like mywebmd.Com and ask a question
online. Or drdonnica.Com (women's health
site) hope this helps. Keep me posted and
take care of yourself.
Good luck, I guess going to the Dr. Is th
best bet. I know, I hate going to the Dr.
So i'm being a hypocrite here.

I had the same thing. Ask your doctor if
he can refer you for and endoscopy to
check for ulcers.

Yep, ulcers is my best bet too.
I had them and know that the lets night,
mid night hunger pains were actually acid
eating away at me.
Try taking some tums/antacid before bed
untill you can see a Dr.

Watch the tums .. If it is an ulcer
antacids will make it worse because they
lower stomach acidity which allows the
bacteria to grow and eat away at that
spot. Get to the doctor for the right
kind of medicine asap!
