During my first prenatal appt. The Dr.
Said that I should gain about 25 to 35
lbs. I just turned 27 weeks yesterday and
my last appt. Was on the 24th of last
month and I had already gained 27 lbs. I
guess my question is...Have many of you
that have had children gained more then
what was recommended and still lost it
all?

A friend of mine gained 60 pounds during
her pregnancy and managed to lose it all
within like 4 - 5 months.

As long as your eating healthy and you
feel good dont worry about anything else.
You can work it off after the baby is
here. I am 34 weeks and I have gained 28
lbs already, but have been diagnosed with
toxemia, so I carry a lot of extra water,
so anything is possible, but keep your
head up girl. Saying that you should only
gain 25-35 isnt right because everybody;s
bodies are different. Im sure you look
great. Good luck with your pregnancy :)

like 60 lbs! And 9 days post partum
currently i've already lost almost 40! So
I say I can do it... But yeah the whole
forum knows I was the weight gain freak!
