Question?
Posted: 03-28-05 16:58pm

I had a medical abortion this weekend. So far so good, but I have a question that I am embarrassed to ask the doctor.

I know it's not ok to have intercourse until my check-up in 2 weeks, but is it ok to have an orgasm?

Thanks for the help

I thought it was ok,just curious.

And yes,i will be using protection.I am 40 and have thought I was infertile since I was 20. Quite a shock I can tell you.

I'm thinking of getting tubal ligation.

I would suggest getting on the waiting list as soon as possible. My aunt was on the waiting list for a tubal ligation for 5 years before they finally came through when she was 38. She knew all her life that she didn't want children but doctor's would not perform one at that time claiming she was so young and may change her mind. Anyway, good luck with the ligation and everything. I, also, don't know about the orgasm. If you're worried about it, you can call your doctor or most health insurance places have a nurse line that you can call and talk to.
Peace,

Re your tubal -- there is a new procedure called essure that you may want to consider instead of a tubal. It doesn't involve surgery, just (from inside) inserting microfibres in the ovaries, causing scarring to block them. I know a couple of people who've had this done, and are very happy with it.

The website is essure.Com.
